The key to a better and just world is the people who dedicate their time to service. Social entrepreneurship is the process of pursuing innovative solutions that address social problems of all kinds. Social entrepreneurs are change agents for society, and identify innovative solutions to society’s most pressing social problems. The vitality of the nonprofit sector is due, in large part, to the commitment and creativity of social entrepreneurs that offer new ideas for wide-scale change.

Streams of Dreams is a 501(c)(3) organization established to act as a fiscal sponsor, and support the charitable activities of organizations by extending its tax-exempt designation by the IRS to include them, this enabling donors to make tax-exempt contributions to support meaningful initiatives that address important social challenges.

Streams of Dreams will sponsor projects that tackle challenges in the face of communities throughout world, and support the social entrepreneurs who create solutions to change society for the better, spread the solution, and persuade people to move in a different direction.

Our mission is to seed symbiotic relationships with social entrepreneurs who facilitate charitable programs that benefit the public good and make a better life for people in communities at a local, national, or even international level.

Our vision is to create and sustain social value through the deliverance of charitable programs intended to accelerate public interest ideas into effective social action.

Our program allows grassroots’ organizations to grow at their own pace to achieve sound business techniques and methods to operate and generate revenues consistent with ethical values.

We work hand in hand with organizations to make their projects a success. This technique has already helped to create a word of mouth buzz about the company. We work with the local, state, federal, and international government to positively impact and improve the lives of people.

It is a fact that nonprofit start-ups falter, fail or compromise program delivery in an effort to focus on the process of establishing a nonprofit organization to pursue its objectives. This dilemma demonstrates the value of fiscal sponsorship and need for a viable alternative that enables a shared common platform to operate in an efficient manner.

“It's more cost-effective to hire a fiscal intermediary to manage your finances, and for the fee you pay a fiscal sponsor you can't buy the services of human services personnel (i.e., bookkeeper, accountant, and auditor) that are necessary to operate a community service.”

—Cynthia Whiteside, Founder & CEO
