As the only PATH-certified therapeutic equine program in a 60-mile radius of Buchanan, Georgia, we have the ability to serve children and adults with physical, mental, occupational, and emotional disabilities in Haralson, Polk, Floyd, Paulding, Carroll, and Douglas Counties in Georgia and Calhoun and Cleburne Counties in Alabama. The combined talents and accomplishments of our staff, Board of Directors, and Advisory Board allow us to offer a unique combination of equine facilitated therapies and the martial arts sport of archery to form unique therapeutic and learning options that facilitate team building, individual growth, and leadership skills. Our instructors are certified as therapeutic riding instructors, equine specialists, and Special Olympics coaches.

Archery has the same therapeutic benefits as therapeutic equine assisted activities and therapies. Equine Facilitated Learning and Psychotherapy have a long history of helping everyone with connection, self-esteem, leadership, focus, physical, mental, and emotional development. Our programs offer accessibility for everyone. For veterans, special needs people, people who want to learn leadership skills or improve self-esteem, people who want to gain mobility, and/or improve physical fitness, we will find a way to adapt equine activities and archery to work with all kinds of disabilities. Our program funding needs include therapeutic riding equipment, specific types of horses, adaptive archery equipment, feed/supplement supplies and competition expenses.

Other program needs, such as administrative and marketing expenses, are met by providing services to therapeutic riding clients and archery students. Our partnership with Bremen Parks and Recreation formed the first Olympic Archery Development Team in West Georgia. The West Georgia Boy Scouts District is spreading the word about our therapeutic service. We have a community presence in the Haralson County School District and Bremen School System. Members of the MagnaForce Mounted Archery Club are partnered with WEST to coach Special Olympics teams.

Group and individual lessons are available. Groups are limited to 5 riders. In the case of inclement weather, sessions may happen on the ground and/or in the barn. Please contact Debra Redman at 770-298-0991 or email
