My North Star wants to inspire dreams for a child’s dream is the driving force behind their determination, development, education and contribution to our future. Through mentoring and exposure to a variety of aviation, aerospace and S.T.E.M. core skills and career opportunities, My North Star, a 501(c)3 non-profit, plans to help this next generation find their way, find their passion, find their life’s purpose. Through our scholarships and internships, we hope to provide opportunities that would not be available to so many who hope to dream and only wish upon a star.

Our Mission:

  • To provide outreach to our children and young adults by providing educational enrichment, one-on-one mentoring and global service initiatives that will cultivate the next generation of responsible leaders.
  • To teach, share and demonstrate principles enabling our youth to achieve their dreams and become strong, responsible and productive.
  • To promote responsible personal conduct, respect for others, educational achievement and social enrichment.
  • To provide programs for our youth that will expose them to higher education, entrepreneurship and important life skills in order to help them more effectively meet daily challenges affecting their development and future.
  • To introduce role models who provide positive examples of integrity, service to others, being responsible and respectful, honest, loyal and disciplined. To instill being kind, gentle, gracious, generous and grateful.
Our Goal:
  • To introduce the many aspects of aviation and aerospace while promoting S.T.E.M. (science, technology, engineering and math) education.
  • To deliver relevant aviation, aerospace and S.T.E.M. programs that will aid in the successful development of both core and life skills introducing experiences that prioritize hands-on learning to increase interest and achievement in S.T.E.M. fields.
  • To provide opportunities and resources that will broaden the experiences of our youth via internships, employment and community programs designed to strengthen them intellectually and socially.
  • To encourage our youth to consider careers in S.T.E.M. as increasingly complex and challenging problems require a skilled S.T.E.M. workforce.
  • To provide scholarships and internships with defined criteria for the success of these programs.
  • To introduce and pair children with mentors and community leaders through both group and one-on-one mentoring programs.
  • To partner and build alliances with public and private organizations with like-minded goals.
  • To expand the programs to multiple markets.
Our hope is to ensure that our youth receive the guidance to find their way to become the men and women they are destined to be.
